Obituary of Wilfred Damstra

DAMSTRA, Wilfred (Wijbe) passed away peacefully on Friday November 22nd, 2024, in London, Ontario. He has gone to his heavenly home in his 82nd year. Wilf, a loving husband of 62 years, is survived by his wife Clasina (Ena). Wilf was the devoted father of Lindsay (Michael), Robert (Amy), Leslie (Murray) and Steven (Donna). He was a loving Grandpa to 5 grandsons, (Jacob, Matthew, Spencer, Scott and Colin) and 5 granddaughters (Tessa, Kylie, Acacia, Tarrah and Alexa). He was a cherished Opa to his 11 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Marianne (Peter), and Jessie (Frank), and is predeceased by his sisters Hetty (Joe) and Pietie (Leen). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at Summerside Community Church, 1447 Commissioners Road E., London, ON. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with the service at 2 and a reception to follow.
