Obituary of Graham David Hawksby

HAWKSBY, Graham David Peacefully in London, Ontario on 18 November 2020. Born in York City, United Kingdom on May 8, 1947, Graham emigrated to Canada when he was 17. Graham had a life that incorporated a multitude of experiences that included, time as a police officer, bank teller, candy maker, and owner/operator of a carpet cleaning business, as well as many others . Graham loved cruising and ballroom dancing, and spent several years as a long haul truck driver which enabled him to indulge in these passions. Graham is survived by his wife, Nancy Downard, his 3 children from a previous marriage: Jeannie, Roberta and Phil; 3 step-children; Ryan (Deb), Krista and Jamie (Scott) and grandchildren Carissa, Isabella, Austin, Alexandra, Peyton and Killian. Cremation has taken place as per Graham’s wishes. A private, family Celebration of Life will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation to givers charity of choice is appreciated.
