Obituary of Kenneth Ross Andrewes
(Kenneth) Ross Andrewes 1930 – 2021
It is with sad hearts we announce Ross’s passing on August 5, 2021 at the age of 90 after an extended stay at Mount Hope Long Term Care. Thank you so much to St. Mary’s 4th floor nursing and support staff and Dr. Persaud Ganeshwar. Ross’s family will be forever grateful for the love and care Ross received from his St Mary’s family.
Ross is loved and will be forever missed by children Edward (Ted)(Eileen) Andrewes, Susan (Randy) Ulmer, Joanne Astle (Cliff Neufeld), grandchildren Carrie (Lloyd Welch), Jennifer, Jason (Yasmine) Andrewes, David Ulmer (Penny Waller-Ulmer), Christine (Des Brownell) Ulmer, Nicole and Evan (Amber) Astle and great grandchildren Mikayla, Jaxson, Ophelia, Emily, Matthew and Kennedy.
Ross was born in Bethesda Hospital London ON August 7 1930 to Archibald Alexander and Alice Evelyn (Millerson) Andrewes. Ross was blessed with a full life as son, brother, husband, father, friend, Salvation Army member, business man, magician, gemologist, Dundas Centre United Church archivist, Community organization volunteer (Kinsmen, Rotary, Salvation Army Christmas kettles). Ross lived in many cities across Canada from Halifax NS to Vancouver BC but always loved and called London home.
Ross was predeceased by his brother Edward (Ted) 1945, father Archibald 1977, mother Alice (Millerson) Andrewes 1998, dear cousins Horace (Ted) 2009, John 2019, and Mary Millerson 2020.
