I met Laurie at Merrymount, saw her at St. Mark's and took her yoga classes at the library in Thamesford. She was most compassionate, very good at what she put her mind to and always funny! She called me "Hubie" and I came to enjoy her as "Hasana". A warm and loving soul. You will be missed. Sending love and a grateful smile to her families.

Our deepest sympathy to Laurie Anne"s family. Some of our family have known Laurie since High School and worked with her at Camp Olalondo and St Mark school. I often met her at the M.S. Walks. A wonderful and cheerful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, Sincerely George Brunton Family

The first time I met Laurie was at Camp Olalondo. As a camp counsellor, it was my first time away from home. Laurie made me and everyone around her feel so special and like we belonged. What a gift it was to meet her again at St. Mark. We shared lots of laughs and good chats working together. She continued to inspire when she became a yoga teacher. I have to say that “inspiring” must be Laurie’s middle name! I will always remember this quality as well as her kindness and humour. I hope her family’s loving memories bring them comfort during this difficult time.

I did not know Laurie, but I knew her daughter quite intimately and I can say without a doubt that this woman instilled her beautiful soul everywhere she went. The woman she raised is filled with kindness and grace and I'd like to think Laurie had a large role to play in that. Sending my deepest condolences to Laurie's family during this time.

I remember Laurie as being the quiet and kind support during our time working together. I always felt like she missed nothing and knew so much. She likely has no idea the impact and support I felt from her in times when I needed. I will miss you.

Laurie was a beautiful soul that I had the pleasure of working with in 2005 at St. Mark’s in London. I was a first year teacher, and as expected came in with all of the nerves, which Laurie quickly eased with her welcoming nature and kind smile. We shared an office and so many laughs that year. I have always been grateful for her kindness and was amazed at her strength and optimism. Heaven has certainly gained a beautiful soul. ❤️ My condolences to her family.
