Obituary of Merlyn Hazel Coulson

Coulson, Merlyn ( Ward) Feb 1922-March 2022 Peacefully at home on Sunday March 6 2022. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bert, dear sister Mel and special son Wayne. Cherished mother of Marnie (Chuck) and Ward (Janine). Grandmother to Cam (Danielle), Ben (Jacinda), Kate (Joe), Meg (Jacek), Nick (Heather) and Madeleine and 10 great-grandchildren. Merle was an avid traveler with over 25 countries visited. She also enjoyed swimming, walking, studying and family celebrations. Merle summered for many years at the family cottage in Port Franks. She will be missed by her pool group, the “Queens of Quinella” who met daily in the warm weather. Special thanks to Joan and the staff of “At Your Service for Seniors”, especially Leslie and Amy, who were flexible and compassionate in the care they offered. A celebration of life ceremony will be held April 16th at London Civic Gardens at 3:00 pm. All are welcome.
