Obituary of Margaret Ann Duncan

Margaret ‘Maggie’ Duncan, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, surrounded by her family, at her home in London. After graduating from St. Joseph’s Regional School of Nursing in 1967, Maggie worked in various hospitals throughout her career. She is known for having loved: Elvis, Earnhardt, dogs, and, most importantly, spending time with those she treasured, namely her grandchildren. Maggie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Brian; her four children: Jeff (Ani), Jodi Jacobs (Ken), Sean (Nikki), and Mike (Carey); her 12 grandchildren: Marc (Alanah), Savannah (Zach), Jaxson (Beth), Paighton, Shane, Bohdi, Tess, Teo, Dakota, Tybee, Delaney, and Elijah; and her loyal poodle, Hattie. Lovingly remembered by her sister, Lorraine McVeigh; her sister-in-law, Shirley Duncan; and by her extended family and friends. Maggie’s family is comforted in knowing that, wherever she is now, she is being greeted by her beloved dogs who went before her: Foster, Levi, Willie, and Phoenix. Funeral services will be held privately with a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the animal welfare organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
