Obituary of Marilyn Billington (nee Smith)

Passed away peacefully at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on May 29, 2022, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Peter (deceased). Survived by her brother, Craig (wife Joan). Loving mother of son, Garth and daughter, Karen (husband Brian). She will be greatly missed by her family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Marilyn had a passion for music and the arts, wildlife, family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mount Hope for the care and compassion she received during her stay there. Cremation has taken place. In respect of her wishes, there will be a private scattering service at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation, Parkinson Canada, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
