Rest in peace Bill. I only knew Bill for a week or so back at the end of May when we shared a hospital room in Kingston. Two strangers put together and confined to beds awaiting further treatment. We spent many hours getting to know each other, often joking of breaking out of the hospital prison we were in. Bill loved to chat, had many stories, and I found Bill very funny. I often thought of Bill and Jenny even after I left the hospital. Thank you for the opportunity to share my small memory of Bill here. Take care of yourself Jenny. Doug Bowers

Rest In Peace my dear brother. You were the kindest and most caring person I have ever known in my lifetime Bill. I cherish the memories of our childhood growing up in the little village of Tamworth. I remember our swimming lessons and piano lessons like it was yesterday. I mostly remember how you nearly cut off your thumb trying to make me a toy gun with dads hatchet. At a very early age you loved music. Playing old 78,s on the wind up Gramaphone at the cottage and singing your heart out to the songs when you were only 8 or 9 years old. You now can talk about those wonderful memories with Mom and Dad and our family and we will once again meet on the other side someday . I love you Bill.

Here's Bill enjoying a view of Toronto from the CN Tower with his family. This was Bill's first visit to this landmark and he loved experiencing it along with his grandchildren. Bill never had a problem making friends and sharing stories. He will be missed. We love you Bill.
