Heather; I’m so very sad to read of Tom’s passing. He was such a kind soul and tremendous athlete. I had instant flashbacks of our fun times as teenagers. May all the wonderful memories you shared in love surround you and the girls at this sad and difficult time.

My condolences to the Newman family. I shared many memories with Tom from our Little League baseball days - he was a worthy opponent from the West Lions Yankees and a teammate with the McMahen Park Phillies. Tom led a full life and was an inspiration. And he was the best minor baseball player I ever saw from London. RIP Tom. Jeffrey Reed

My condolences to the entire Newman family. I had the pleasure of playing hockey (L.M.H.A.) for several years with Tommy. Always our Captain, Tommy wasn't the vocal leader but led by example powering us to several Companionships. Later we reunited at Kellogg's and our friendship continued. R.I.P. Tom

So sorry to here of Tom's passing, Tom's parents place was the place to go from watching cartoons Saturday mornings to playing ever sport around, We always had the best team when we played hockey Sunday mornings. R I P Buddy Ray Gallant

Tom, you were truly one of a kind; a happy, fun loving, caring guy. I loved how quietly proud you were of your daughters, how you loved hanging out with your brothers and how you were one of Joe's best friends. Your nicknames for your loved ones always made me laugh.
