Obituary of Antonie Schering

Peacefully at home, with family by his side on November 16, 2022. Loved by his long-time companion Marilyn Brooks. Loved father and father-in-law of Jeff Schering, Mike Schering (Kristin), and Jamie Schering (Gail). Grandfather to Jacob (Najla), Luke, Jasper, Skyler, and Larkin Schering. Brother and brother-in-law to Jack Schering and Elly and Morris Collver. Remembered by nieces and nephews Karen Collver Stacey (Jeff), Kathy Collver Moore (Jeff), Jason Walker (Vikki), and Kylene Walker (Dallas Gow). Predeceased by his dad Arie Schering, mom Jenny (van Mastrigt) Schering, brother Harry Schering, sister-in-law Pat Schering, sister Audrey Cole, brother-in-law Harold Cole, and sister Maria Edwards. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Byron-Springbank Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 533, 1276 Commissioners Road West, London, beginning at 1:30 p.m. In 2008 Tony was awarded Life Membership for outstanding service to The Royal Canadian Legion. He was a member of branch 533 Byron. His family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice in London, and the entire medical system for making his last days comfortable.
