Obituary of Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren, age 83, of London, Ontario, passed peacefully on December 10, 2022, at Victoria Hospital, London, after a brief illness. Elizabeth (Liz) was born May 17, 1939 to Rose Abram and Tom Phillips at their home on the Oneida Nation of the Thames. Liz enjoyed life to the fullest, she travelled and explored the world extensively. Her career was her family and she guided them in lots of adventures. From spending the entire summer with two kids in a tent on the beaches of Lake Huron, to fine dinning in Pairs, she was always most intrigued and happiest when exploring the world with family and friends. Her retirement was full and included travels around the world from Australia to Alaska. Many extended trips were spent overseas travelling or at camp fires on the lakes of Ontario laughing and smiling with friends. Elizabeth was married to Joseph Warren on May 12th, 1960 and they enjoyed a 62-year loving marriage, having 2 sons. Liz will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joseph (aka. Louie), her two sons John (Evelyn) and Todd (Ali), and her two grand children Courtney (Valerie) and Kian. Survived by her siblings Pat (Tony), Dee, Rena, Charlene (Mitch), Marilyn, Clara, David (Melissa); predeceased by sisters Nora, Delores, baby Clara and her brothers Murphy, Kenneth, and Floyd. A celebration of life will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery Chapel, 303 Riverside Drive, London, Ontario on Friday, December 19, 2022 from 1:15 – 4:00 p.m. In the way that Liz would have appreciated this will be a social affair to gather and tell stories of a life well lived. Open to all that loved and appreciated her.
