Obituary of Lois Elaine Gauld

GAULD, Lois November 17, 1926 July 7, 2023 Peacefully, with family by her side on Friday, July 7, 2023, at University Hospital-London, Lois Gauld passed away in her 97 year. Beloved wife of the late James C. Gauld (2021). Loving mother of Jamie (Lori) and Robert. Proud Grandmother of Jamie (Alana) and Geoffrey (Hannah Carter). Also survived by her cherished great-grandchildren Gibson, Emmalyn and Georgia and lifelong friend Annabel Sells. Predeceased by her father Jack West, mother Mabel West, brother John West and sister Lorna West. Lois was a lifelong nurse and a proud graduate of the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1950. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kathleen Milne and the Palliative Care staff of University Hospital for their compassionate care and support. In keeping with Lois’ wishes a private internment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery London. As expressions of sympathy donations in memory of Lois may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.
