Obituary of Wendy Lou Richardson

Wendy Richardson passed away early Friday morning October 27th, surrounded by family and close friends. She is the definition of “The Woman of Valour” described in Proverbs 31. She endured the cancer diagnosis with beauty, strength, determination, and steadfast faith. She grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan and later toured North America with Christian rock groups where she met the love of her life, Rob. Together, they raised four boys. Wendy was a mother to many others who knew her. She was a follower and worshiper of Jesus. She lived joyfully, thankful for all the ways God had blessed her, and yearned to see God’s word fulfilled. She is the core of our family, an expression of home where everyone is welcome. Words cannot express the depth of connection she created with each and every person. Loving wife of Rob Richardson, mother of Jeremy (Saralyn), Joshua (Jenny), Nathan, and Micah (Carolyn). Grammy to Daniel, Eliana, Madeline, and Henry. She is preceded in death by her sister Donna Mae, mother Georgie, and father Murray. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
