Obituary of Nick Sauter

Peacefully after a lengthy illness at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital on November 14, 2023 Nick Sauter at the age of 87. Beloved husband of his loving wife Thea of 66 years. Loving father of Michael (Janice) and Kathleen (Herb). Proud Opa of Danielle (Luke), Elise (Charles), Nicholas, Jessica (Jon) and Justine. He was predeceased by his father Walter and mother Olga. Nick was a valued employee at 3M Company for over 30 years. Nick was a voice in the cold, working with City Hall to improve the infrastructure and safety in East London. He was an avid golfer, curler, an active volunteer for many causes and had a deep passion for his garden. Nick's Lutheran faith and his deep friendships with the congregation were at the core of his social life for decades. Regular workouts at the 'Y' kept Nick in great shape to enjoy his active pursuits. In lieu of flowers, donations to the local Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place.
