Obituary of Jack Gordon LeBreton
In Loving Memory of Jack LeBreton
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Jack LeBreton, a husband, father, grandfather, and teacher, on November 24, 2023. Jack, aged 82, departed this world with his beloved wife Annabelle by his side.
Born March 28, 1941, Jack was a man of many passions and talents. As an educator, he dedicated his life to shaping young minds, leaving an indelible mark on the countless students fortunate enough to have been touched by his wisdom and guidance. His commitment to learning extended beyond the classroom, instilling in his students a love for knowledge and a curiosity that would last a lifetime.
In addition to his role as a teacher, Jack found solace and joy in cultivating the beauty of nature. His green thumb was renowned among friends and family, and his garden was a testament to his patience, care, and deep connection to the Earth.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Annabelle, who stood by his side through the seasons of life, and his son Greg, daughter-in-law Julie, and two cherished grandchildren, Jessica and Madeline. His family was a source of great pride.
To honor Jack's memory and celebrate the remarkable life he lived, a special gathering will take place in the spring when the locust trees, a symbol of the renewal he so cherished, are in full bloom. This season, which he adored, will serve as a fitting backdrop to commemorate the beauty, warmth, and vibrancy that defined Jack's essence.
As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Jack not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the joy, wisdom, and inspiration he shared with us all. May his memory continue to bloom in our hearts, much like the blossoms he so lovingly tended in his garden.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
Rest in peace, dear Jack. Your legacy lives on in the lives you've touched and the gardens you've sown.
