Obituary of June Dolores Wonch
With heartfelt sadness we share the loss of our beautiful, kind, and sweet mother June “Junie” “June bug” Wonch. Peacefully at Chelsey Park Long-Term Care home in London Ontario, Junie died on Sunday December 10th in her 88th year. Junie is survived by “her girls” “the 3 K’s” Kim, Kelly (Barry) and Karen (Andrew) who held her and cried together freeing June from the pain of dementia. June will be dearly missed by her loving grandchildren Nicole, Ashley, Blake, Vanessa, Amanda, and Adam as well as her great grandchildren, Brendan, Avorie, and Aiden.
As per June’s wishes, cremation services have been provided. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of Junie. Online condolences may be made at www.mpcemetery.ca Mount Pleasant Cemetery (London) Inc., London Ontario.
June’s girls would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Chelsey Park (especially Chuck) who provided comfort, compassion, and loving care throughout the last seven years of her life.
A flower that blossoms and glitters in the sun
That someday will wither and die
Our cherished memories of you our momma
Will grow and beautify
Written by James Wonch (June’s father)
"A light went out on Earth for us
The day we said goodbye
And on that day a star was born,
The brightest in the sky
Reaching through the darkness
With its rays of purest white
Lighting up the Heavens
As it once lit up our lives..."
