Obituary of Christine Lancaster

After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Christine received her wings on December 27, 2023 at University Hospital, London, Ontario. Survived by her loving husband, Mike. Mother to Raven and her husband Ian Jenner, Kegan and his wife Tina. Stepmother to Justin and Tara. Adoring grandmother to Jayda, Riley, Bryce, Natasha and Oliver. Survived by her siblings, Marcel from Nipigon, Maurice (Joanne) from Nipigon, Francine (Ray) from Thunder Bay, Sue (Grant) from Medicine Hat, Danny (Myrna) from Nipigon, Daniel (Karen) from Sechelt BC, Rene from Beardmore. Predeceased by her parents, Fernand and Jeannine, and her siblings, Christie, Michel and daughter Crystal. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Chris will be remembered for her kind and witty demeanor and always having a good snack to share. She developed great relationships with anyone who knew her. She always put time aside to do the little things for the residents at Glendale Crossing, she was a true animal lover who always had treats in her lunch bag for the visiting dogs. She was known for always putting her family and friends before herself. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Humane Society. A Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024 from 1-3pm at the Village of Glendale Crossing in The Ruby restaurant.
