Obituary of Ronald Andrew Mousley

Ronald A Mousley December 28, 1936 - January 8, 2024 It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Andrew Mousley. Ron was born in Toronto, Ontario on December 28, 1936 and passed away surrounded by his loving Family on January 8, 2024 at the age of 87 at Parkwood Institute in London, Ontario. He leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his wife Geraldine Mousley (Sowden) of 65 years, son Michael (Tatiana), daughter Nancy (Dave) and grandchildren Morgan (Isaac), Tara (Robyn), Andrea (Adrian), Carrie (Jerome), Kelsey (Mark) and Samantha (Devin). Predeceased by father Neville Mousley (December 24, 1971) of Buxton Derbyshire, England, mother Mary Mousley (Hall) (September 12, 1984) of Glasgow, Scotland and brother Warren Mousley (October 25, 2017) of Toronto, Ontario. Ron’s career was entirely in the Insurance field from a very young age and worked for companies such as Fireman’s Fund, Shaw and Begg, Alexander and Alexander, Reed Stenhouse and AON and retired as Senior Vice President Commercial Marketing and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada (A.I.I.C). Ron enjoyed various hobbies such as fishing, golfing and was an avid landscaper and always strived to keep his lawn and garden in immaculate condition. Ron always worked hard on whatever task he set his mind to whether work or looking after his family and took much pride in all of his accomplishments. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 1:00pm at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Reception Centre 303 Riverside Drive, London, Ontario. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron’s name would be gratefully appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society https://cancer.ca/en or Diabetes Canada www.diabetes.ca. The Family would like to thank all the Staff at Victoria Hospital and Parkwood Institute for the dignified, respectful, care provided to Ron during his short time there.
