We are so sorry to hear of Marlene's passing and send condolences to all her family. Marlene came into our euchre group on Gardenvale Cres. as a spare many years ago, and always brought laughter along with her euchre skills. We were always glad to see Marlene at our homes and hers, and felt she was one of the best. We also met up with her on the Stratford bus trips from the Northumberland address, with another group of friends there. The picture you chose to share is just exactly the Marlene I knew - full of joy and good humour, kindness and friendliness, and beautiful, inside and out. I am so glad to have known her.

The picture has captured her perfectly. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. It was an honour to have been given her name and thus I called her my Aunt Marlene. My heart is sad for all of her family and for those that knew her and loved her

My dear Aunt Marlene.
I will miss her. She was a terrific cheerleader for me since I was a little kid. Now at 64 I look back with only fond memories of the too infrequent times we spent together and chatted on the phone.
She was funny with phone calls. She had a preset time limit, I think. She never wanted to go on too long. Kind of like a comic, always leave them wanting more!
What a great smile she had. Even her eyes smiled at you.
What a great pair Max and Marlene made. A few years back I found some footage from their wedding and shared it with all. Never two happier people together. M & M.
Happy trails Auntie M. I’ll miss you.

The picture shows the true Marlene. she had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her family was her life and she enjoyed every thing they did and accomplished. She was always telling me about all or them and I will miss her very much. Our phone calls were priceless and we always had lots of laughs. I will never forget her.
