Roger, Joanne, Kevin & Family. I fully understand why you described Uncle Winston as "caring and compassionate". When I was 11 years old, he felt in his heart that I needed a bicycle and so he went out and purchased one for me. That special day lives dear within my memory of Uncle Winston.
I know that when Dad (Ches) was alive, often Uncle Winston would sit and visit with him holding long conversations of days gone by of Pop with the store and the memories they shared together.
No doubt you hold a lot of dear memories with your Dad (and your Mom) - memories stay with us forever!
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Thank you so much for the story of Dad getting a bike for you! I remember quite a few adventures my Dad and yours had together over the years.
One winter when Dad and Uncle Franklin had gotten new mittens and they dropped them on the ice on the bay and started chasing after them, afraid to go home without them. It was so windy it also was blowing them to the open water and they were clinging onto the ice with their fingernails! Your Dad came to the rescue with the family horse with his ice shoes

To: Roger, Joanne, Kevin & Families
Sorry to hear of Uncle Winston’s passing and it is sad to realize he is the last of his family’s generation of Manuel’s to go. My Dad, Channon Manuel, and his brother Uncle Winston, looked most alike in their family, and both of them exchanged many a thought and materials on their faith and beliefs over the years. The Manuel men were mostly of a gentle spirit, peaceable, good workers, and enjoyed time with family.
Thinking of you all during this time of loss. Cherish the memories! ❤️
