Obituary of Richard John Dawtrey

DAWTREY, Richard John passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home in London on Monday, April 8, 2024 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his cherished wife Velvia (nee Noakes), his mother Edith Dawtrey, his father Eric Dawtrey and his brother Bernard Dawtrey (Wendy). Loving father of Chris Dreher (Richard) and her children; Kathryn (Ryan) and Michael (Katelyn), Mike Dawtrey (Vanessa) and their children; Veneisha and Max, Sherry Sequin and her daughter; Shacelle, Sean Dawtrey (Lisa) and their children; Aiden (Stef) and Erin (Chris), Dan Clarke and his children; Madi (Jacob), Paige and Torin, Corinna Senis (Rob) and their children; Chantal, Carter (Bay) and Keyden. Richard will be sadly missed by his brother Bob (Bella), Carol (Jim), Charmaine (Gilles), Carmen (Dennis), Patricia (Brian) and Carole Dawtrey. Richard was a successful entrepreneur and business owner in the automatic door business for the past 50 plus years. He proudly served the Southwestern Ontario Community and beyond. Richard led a full, active and adventurous life! A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date where friends and family are invited to share their memories of Richard.
