Aidan Mullan

Obituary of Aidan Frederick Mullan

After a remarkable 19 years Aidan is now resting peacefully. He died on Friday August 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at home, at the age of 19. Aidan may have lived a short and medicinally complicated life but he never stopped smiling or fighting to do the things he enjoyed. He loved seeing and experiencing new things in the world. Some of his favourite times were heading to Toronto to just see new and wonderful things. He always talked about feeding a giraffe at the zoo, going up the CN Tower, seeing the fish at the aquarium, and getting to see the Maple Leafs play in person. He also liked going to Port Stanley to wander the beach and see what new things he could find. He even loved school, Tweedsmuir and Clarke Road, for all he learned and discovered. He never let his condition get him down or defeat him. He was a fighter until the end, and taught all he met the true meaning of strength and courage with a smile on his face. We will miss him always, and will especially miss hearing him say: “I’ll be right here”, and “We’ve got this”. Aidan leaves behind his parents Melissa and Patrick Mullan; brother Owain Mullan; and his grandparents Brenda Mathe-Couture & Roger Couture, Leslie Mullan & Scott Green, Paul Mullan, and Jim Mathe. His Uncle Jamie & Aunt Laurie, Cousins Cassandra (Kyle), Brendan, & Marshall; Uncle Michael & Aunt Penny.
