Obituary of Leigh Anne Heald

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27th with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife for 42 years of Dave. Dear Mother of Patrick (Lacey), Daniel (Sara), and Kimberly. Beloved Grammy to Nash, Noa, Gwendolyn and Audrey. Predeceased by her parents Bud and Marion Hushagen and brother Dennis and sister-in-law Patricia. Leigh will also be missed by her nieces, cousins and so many dear friends who felt like family due to her unbounding generosity. Leigh also carried on the Hushagen tradition of making sure that everyone was welcome into our home. Leigh was a pharmacist for 46 years. She was loved and respected by patients, customers, and staff in every location she practiced. Her knowledge of her trade and her remarkable care will be missed. Leigh’s faith was strong, and she dedicated herself to the service of God and the congregation at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the London Region Cancer Program and the Doctors and Nurses of the Palliative Care team at Parkwood Hospital. We would also like to thank our longtime family doctor, Doctor Pamela Smith. The level of care Leigh received was second to none and so much appreciated. A service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1 Frank Place, London, Ontario N6C 1W1.
