This is very sad. My condolences to her family and friends. Mrs. Rogers was my grade 3 teacher and she was fantastic. Such a wonderfully kind and patient person. The exact kind of person that everyone hopes they will have as their teacher.

Our family was very sad to hear of Mrs Rogers passing. She was a fabulous teacher and a lovely lady. After her retirement from Westdale she would often stop me on the street to ask how my children were doing. I will miss our little chats. Mrs Rogers always had a kind word for everyone. Heaven definitely received a new angel.
Our sincere condolences to her family.

We are so sad to hear of Marion’s passing. She became our neighbour and made us feel so welcome when we moved to Oakridge 15 years ago. We always enjoyed our chats in the back garden. She always had a smile on her face and a genuine interest in everyone in the neighborhood. Lots of stories about her grandchildren that she was so proud of. We loved to watch the Easter egg hunts in the wooded part of their garden just as much as the grandchildren loved running around filling their baskets with goodies. We will miss you Marion but will always have such fond memories of you. God Bless. Chris and Mary

Mrs Rogers is the reason I became a teacher. After Gr. 3 with her, I knew it's what I wanted to do because she made every lesson come to life. I remember her talking to us about Zebra Muscles (of all things) and then going home to tell my parents all about it. I was 9 years old and fascinated. Mrs Rogers holds a very special place in my heart!

Mrs. Rogers’ positive impact on so many students will last for an eternity. She was an incredible teacher and set the bar high for many others to strive for. I would wish that a reunion with Dr. Rogers is taking place and the corvette rides are imminent. Our family extends sincere condolences as both former students and Oak Park Drive residents.

So sorry to hear that the world has lost one of the most kind, caring, compassionate ladies you would ever want to meet. Her smile was infectious, as was her laugh! She was certainly one of a kind & will be greatly missed by her family, friends and fellow teachers! I will always remember her as "The Bean Queen" and that she was the first to introduce me to that world famous landmark, "Punkey Doodles Corners". I still have the paper napkin with the map showing me how to get there! Thank you for all your words of wisdom that kept me out of trouble @ Orchard Park! Love you, Marion! You're the best & always will be. Tom Binnington
