We are truly saddened by this tragic event. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Rogers family. Andrew was an excellent Jiu-jitsu student, and trained with his heart and soul on the mats. After class, he would always talk about his family and how proud he was of his girls. We are going to miss you, Andrew. Condolences to the family, from our family, and Bindner Jiu-jitsu Academy.

Luke & Stephanie Henshaw & Family posted a condolence

Dear Dianne and the entire Rogers family,
On behalf of the Henshaw family (neighbours two houses down for many years), I would like to offer our deepest condolences to the entire Rogers family during this very difficult time.
Although I didn’t really know Andrew well, as I am the eldest child in my family and moved away, I would often see him outside, renovating the family home on Charles Street. I thought to myself, that must be one talented man to be able to do such a big job.
I know my mother - Donna Henshaw (passed away in 2010), and younger siblings (Theresa and Mark) knew your family better, talked a lot and spent time at your house. Theresa told me today she would play in your backyard a lot.
As a father of four children, I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling, but please know that your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
Luke, Stephanie, Grace, Emily, Noah & Christopher Henshaw

Words can’t express how sad I am to hear this. Andrew was a truly amazing individual who I will miss so greatly. He was always there cheering for us on the field and always one of the first ones to congratulate me with a beyond excited smile after our games. His passion for our team was appreciated so much and will always be remembered. We will make you proud Andrew. Thanks for everything - I am so truly sorry. Love lots, sidney

Dear Rogers Family… it is with a heavy heart that I post this message to Diane, Hannah, Ava & Maya. I’ve had the good fortune to grow to know you through Ava’s involvement with Alliance ‘’07 Girls Soccer, who’ve enjoyed one success after another.
On a team with so many terrific families, Andrew stood out in too many ways to mention. Words cannot fully express the sense of loss I feel for both your family, and indeed all who knew him. After more time has passed I’ll check on you ladies to ensure you have everything you need. You have my heartfelt condolences… sincerely, Gary Gorham
