Obituary of Audrey Jean Leask

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Audrey Jean Leask on Saturday, September 21, 2024, with her family by her side, in her 90th year. Cherished mother of Doug Sabin (Theresa), Patricia Kennedy (late Mike), Paul Leask (Doris) and Brian Leask (Donna). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Carrie Bartoch (Mike), Monique ten Holder (Jean-Marc), Christina Butterworth and Jacob Sabin and by her great-grandchildren Shay ten Holder, Angus Sabin and Charley Sabin. Audrey also leaves behind her kitty, Brie who she loved dearly. Audrey is predeceased by her husband Wesley, son Jimmy, her parents Dorothy and William Hill, and siblings, Dorothy (“Dot”), William (“Bill”), Mike, Geoff, Phyllis and Olive (“Olly”). Remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at University Hospital for the care and support they gave to Audrey and her family. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:30am. Following the internment, there will be a Celebration of Audrey’s Life at Riverside United Church, 695 Riverside Drive, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
