Obituary of Richard John Watts

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Richard "Rick" John Watts on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of 30 years to Ann. Rick was a devoted and caring father to Jennifer Watts and Jason Watts, and a loving stepfather to Andrea Wakem (Michael) and Andrew Angus (Helen). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Nathan Angus, Julia Wakem, and Reese Angus, whose lives he touched with his warmth. Rick is also survived by his sister Louise Gray (Cam), with whom he shared a lifelong bond. He is predeceased by his parents, Verna and Richard Watts, as well as his siblings, Barb Comeau and Gord Watts. His memory will live on through his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were brightened by his presence. A special thank you is extended to the compassionate staff at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital for their extraordinary care and support during this difficult time.
