Obituary of Anne Isabel Porter

PORTER, ANNE ISABEL – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.  Anne led an amazingly full life, bringing a smile to everyone she met.  She cherished her family and her wide circle of friends that meant the world to her.  Her enthusiasm and love for tennis, travel, cooking, bridge and the Colpoys Bay cottage filled her days until the end.  She will be sorely missed by so many but remain an inspiration of  what it means to love, laugh and live.  She will live forever in the hearts of her five children including sons Tom (Jenny), David (Karen), Paul (Mary), Bradley (Martha), and daughter Julie (Ralph); and five grandchildren Heidi, Maggie, Will, Sean and Lucy.  Dear sister to Rob Carlye (Mary).  Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her loving husband Bill Porter and sisters Jane and Peg.  A Service to Celebrate the Life of Anne Porter will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2019 at 11:00am when family and friends will gather at Riverside United Church, 451 Dunedin Drive, London.  A reception will follow.  In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests donations to Riverside United Church.  Online condolences available at www.mountpleasantcemeterylondon.ca
