My sincere condolences to Ken & Jen. Your mom was a dear friend beginning when we taught together at Northridge. I will miss her comforting words to me over the years. She always knew what to say in such a caring way. She taught me that life throws curve balls, but to keep being positive. Her children were her world. I will miss her at our monthly pizza lunches. Hugs to you both.

Dear Ken and Jenn
Your mom was my Grade Five teacher in the early 1960's. She was a very tall, very thin Miss Bethel. She had the most comforting smile for a scared, little girl who had jumped from Grade Three to Grade Five. She gave me confidence and always shared a quiet smile "You can do it, Cathy". She led the choir and, at Christmas I always sing 'Bring your torch, Jeanette Isabella' with her in mind. I know she touched many lives - students, parents and teaching partners. I hope you are comforted in knowing that she left this world a better place. She made a difference! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Cathy

Sincere sympathy to Ken and Jen. Your Mom was a wonderful lady who truly enjoyed her teaching. She was a special colleague at Northridge. I have many fond memories but our mass choir at Christmas singing Little Drummer Boy was beyond spectacular. Treasure all your wonderful memories. May God bless you at this time. Lloyd and Julia McNaughton.

I have fond memories of teaching with Georgina. When I arrived at Northridge as a new teacher, Georgina quickly became a mentor and friend, generously sharing her wisdom, experience, and ideas with me. I learned a lot from her and enjoyed her wonderful sense of humour and quick, welcoming smile. My condolences to her family. Lynn Butler
