Obituary of Georgina Mae Dawson

Dawson, Georgina (nee Bethel) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25th, 2021 at University Hospital to join beloved husband Ken (deceased 2011) and daughter Elizabeth (deceased 1970) in her 87th year. Cherished mother of Ken Dawson and his wife Michelle and Jennifer Jessome. Dear Grandmother of Hugh, Cate and James Dawson and Andrew and Grace Jessome. Will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Lorie Bethel and Susan Dawson as well as many nieces and nephews. Mom spent her entire career as a primary schoolteacher and touched countless lives. She will be fondly remembered for her wonderful sense of humour and playfulness, her tenacity and grace and her love of food and music. Private family internment to take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
